Pizhichil

Pizhichil (also known as "Thailadhara" or "Sarvangadhara") is an Ayurvedic therapy combining two traditional treatments: Snehana (oleation) and Swedana (sudation or sweating). It involves the gentle pouring of warm, medicated oil over the body while performing a soothing massage, making it a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating therapy. Often called the "King of Ayurvedic therapies," Pizhichil is renowned for its therapeutic effects on the muscles, joints, and nervous system.

  • Improves Nervous System Health: By calming the nerves and reducing Vata imbalance, it is particularly useful for conditions such as paralysis, sciatica, and other neurological disorders.

  • Promotes Circulation and Detoxification: The warmth and oils stimulate blood flow, enhancing circulation and flushing toxins from the body through the skin.
